Judy Shepard's presentation
scheduled for September 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium
has been postponed due
to a flight cancellation. The event has been rescheduled
for Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Avenue.
The presentation "The
Legacy of Matthew Shepard" recounts how Judy Shepard became
an advocate and frequent speaker in support of the Hate Crimes
Prevention Act after her son was attacked in an anti-gay hate
crime in October 1998 at Laramie, Wyo.
