A new exhibit featuring artwork by several Morningside College alumni will be on display Tuesday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Oct. 15, in Eppley Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Avenue. The free exhibit is open to the public.
More than 15 alumni will exhibit their work in photography, digital graphics, painting, drawing, and engraving. (Above, untitled digital print by Carol Faber)
On display will be photographs and computer prints featuring a variety of subject matter created by Mark Clark, Carol Faber, Leah Godbersen, Melissa Hamersma, Marsha Newman, Deb Satterfield, Johnny Shelby, and Denise Turner.
Other pieces in the exhibit include paintings by Phyllis Bennett, Clark, Tim Harder, Ann McTaggart, Bettina Perkins, Pauline Sensenig, and Shannon Sargent, and engravings and drawings by Tracy Chu, among other works.
Eppley Art Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery will also be open Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. during Morningside College’s homecoming festivities.
