Morningside College is designated one of the Midwest’s “Best Regional Colleges” in the U.S. News & World Report 2013 “Best Colleges” rankings released today. Morningside is ranked 24 out of 99 regional colleges in the Midwest.
This is the ninth consecutive year that U.S. News has designated Morningside a “Best College.” The U.S. News rankings are available at www.usnews.com/colleges and also are published in the “Best Colleges 2013” guidebook available on newsstands September 18.
The U.S. News rankings for the best regional colleges category are based on key indicators in six broad areas: peer assessment, retention and graduation rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.
U.S. News identifies regional colleges as institutions that focus on undergraduate education and offer a range of degree programs in the liberal arts and in professional fields such as business, nursing and education.
