SalsaMagic to perform at Morningside College

SalsaMagic College Interactive Latin Dance Party and Light Show will perform at Morningside College on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Avenue.

The public is invited to the free event, which is sponsored by Morningside’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS) and the Morningside Activities Council (MAC). 

Educational aspects of the dances will be discussed as the audience is introduced to the cultures behind the Latin dances of salsa, meringue, and bachata. The audience will participate in an on-stage dance party following the dance lessons.

SalsaMagic is a nominee for a 2007 Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) Campus Programming Awards in the category of Best Novelty Artist. SalsaMagic has performed around the world and has been featured on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and Fox television’s “Ambush Makeover.”
