The Morningside College Music Department will present a fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Avenue. The concert is free and open to the public.
Featured ensembles will include the Morningside College Choir, Singing Men, Bel Canto women’s chorus, and the Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
A variety of works will be performed including the spiritual “Witness” by Jack Halloran, “Peace,” an original jazz composition by Michele Weir, Mozart's
"Dona Nobis Pacem," and "Ach! Synku, Synku," a Czechoslovakian folksong.
Michele Grossman will serve as accompanist for all the ensembles. Morningside students Andrew Goodell, cellist, and Emily Cox, clarinetist, will also accompany the Bel Canto women’s chorus.
