Two Morningside College students co-host Junior Achievement of Siouxland’s hall of fame dinner

Morningside College students Samuel Asante of Dakota Dunes, S.D., and Breanne Evans of Crofton, Neb., served as co-hosts and emcees for Junior Achievement of Siouxland, Inc.’s Hall of Fame Tribute Dinner held Oct. 25, at the Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, S.D.

Asante is a sophomore and Evans is a freshman at Morningside.

The students were selected to co-host the dinner because of their involvement in the Discover Entrepreneurship class at Morningside, which participates in service-learning projects at Junior Achievement of Siouxland, Inc. Both students are also officers for The E Group, an umbrella organization for Morningside’s Students in Free Enterprise, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, and the Self Employment in the Arts group.

Morningside College alumni Chuck Long and Jon Winkel were honored at the dinner, which recognizes outstanding individuals in the Siouxland business community.
