Fight director to serve as guest artist at Morningside College

Brad Lemons, a fight director whose work has been featured on popular television shows, will serve as a guest artist in the theatre department at Morningside College from Sunday, Oct. 23, to Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Lemons will hold combat workshops on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, culminating in a public demonstration at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Ave. Weather permitting, there also will be an outdoor stage combat exercise at 4 p.m. Tuesday in front of Lewis Hall and moving toward the "M."

Lemons has staged fights on and off Broadway and for New York, regional and university theatres. He has staged fights for opera, film and television shows such as “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “All My Children.” He is on the faculty at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
