George Lindblade will talk about his work as a photographer, videographer, historian and publisher during a presentation titled “I’ve Never Worked a Day,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in UPS auditorium, 3627 Peters Ave., on the Morningside College campus. This is a free event open to the public.
"The title of George’s presentation, “I’ve Never Worked a Day,” is intended to be tongue-in-cheek humor because George has worked every day, doing so many things, throughout his life,” said Terri Parish McGaffin, assistant professor of art at Morningside College.
Lindblade’s presentation will focus on his life as an artist. He will discuss his extensive career and the struggles he surpassed to make it in the business.
Lindblade is a photographer, videographer, historian, documentarian, businessman and publisher. He has worked as a cameraman for KTIV, NBC, KCAU, and KMEG. Furthermore, he has photographed Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Dean Martin and many other famous people. He currently lives in Sioux City and manages G.R. Lindblade and Co.
