The Morningside College Art Faculty Show is on display through Sunday, Nov. 15, in the Eppley Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Ave. A reception for the artists will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the art gallery.
Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.
Featured art includes oil and acrylic paintings by Terri McGaffin and oil paintings by Karen Harris and Pauline Sensenig. Color photographs by Dolie Thompson record images from Budapest shot while she was an artist-in-residence at the Hungarian Multicultural Center in Hungary.
Both Jim Bisenius and John Bowitz exhibit mixed media 2-D work, Amy Foltz exhibits two stained glass windows, and John Kolbo exhibits several poster designs emphasizing his personal approach to typography.
A 6-foot tall copper sculpture titled “Torque Obelisk” stands in front of a wall installation; this artwork was created by Shannon Sargent.
The Eppley Art Gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
