The admissions department at Morningside College invites high school seniors and their families to attend one of several upcoming fall visit days. The visit days are scheduled for Fridays, Nov. 2, Nov. 9, and Nov. 16, and will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the option of attending a college class from 1:45 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
After a brief welcome, students and their guests will attend “Morningside 101,” a classroom simulation which provides information on Morningside academics and co-curricular activities and helps students to discover whether the college is a good fit for them; “Keeping You Connected,” which looks at how the Morningside campus is connected to the Siouxland community; and a third session on financial planning. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with faculty, take a campus tour, and eat lunch in the Main Dining Hall in the newly remodeled Olsen Student Center.
Sue Pyburn, associate director of admissions, said prospective students may also register for individual afternoon appointments for special interest areas, including athletics, music, theatre, art, dance, and others.
Pre-registration is required.
