Morningside College announces new appointments for two staff members.
The staff members and their new titles are Jim Braunschweig, sophomore/junior admissions counselor and electronic communication manager, and Stacy Weiland, lead custodian.
Braunschweig’s responsibilities in his new position include researching and developing electronic means to communicate with prospective students, maintaining and keeping the admissions Web site current, and engaging and responding to student and parent needs. Braunschweig has been an admissions counselor at Morningside since graduating from the college in the spring of 2006.
Weiland’s responsibilities in his new position include coordinating the activities of the custodial staff in the absence of the custodial manager. Weiland has been a member of the custodial staff at Morningside College since the fall of 2001. He has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Ames.
