A Lakota family will entertain and teach audience members about the evolution of American Indian music and dance during a performance at Morningside College at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The public is invited to the free event, which is sponsored by Morningside’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS) and the Morningside College Activities Council (MAC).
Though based in Minnesota, the Fast Horse family has spent the last 10 years performing for audiences in various locations around the world. Reuben and Ash Fast Horse and their two children engage the audience through poetry, humor, magic, audience participation, juggling, storytelling, costumes, fire, song and dance.
