Step into shoes of someone with learning disabilities through simulation

The public is invited to step into the shoes of someone with learning disabilities through a simulation at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Sioux City Public Library, Morningside Branch, 4005 Morningside Ave.

This free event is sponsored by the Learning Disabilities Association of Siouxland and Morningside College’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS).

The simulation is designed to be a learning experience for educators, parents, students of all ages and the general public. Speaking after the simulation will be Paula Hamp, a teacher at Sioux City West High School who was named the Council for Learning Disabilities Outstanding Teacher of the Year.
