Morningside College sophomores Tara Sagedahl, daughter of Karl and Catherine Sagedahl of East Bethel, Minn., and Kari Hansen, daughter of Keith and Kim Hansen of Sioux City, attended the national Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) Leadership Workshop held October 27-29, in Boston, Mass.
 Sagedahl (left) is president of Morningside’s chapter of ALD. She is a 2005 graduate of  St. Francis High School and is majoring in political science.
Hansen (right) is vice-president of Morningside's chapter of ALD. She is a 2005 graduate of East High School and is majoring in elementary education.
Founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois, ALD is a national honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence among first year college and university students.
