Kristi DeBruin began duties as director of public relations at Morningside College effective Oct. 23.
She comes to Morningside from The Foreign Candy Company in Hull, Iowa, where she was promotions and marketing associate.
She is chiefly responsible for providing timely and relevant information to local and regional media about the college, developing and implementing Morningside’s annual communications and marketing plans, and creating and maintaining a visually and stylistically consistent message for the college.
DeBruin, a 2004 graduate of Morningside, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and corporate communications with a minor in advertising.
