Morningside College
will host a basketball tournament for boys in grades 5, 6,
7, and 8, Friday through Sunday, January 14, 15, and 16, at
Allee Gymnasium and the Hindman-Hobbs Center, located on the
campus of Morningside College.
Tournaments will
involve pool play with each team guaranteed three games of
play. Championship games for each grade level will be played
full court in Allee Gymnasium with pre-game introductions.
Sportsmanship plaques will be presented to the team exhibiting
the best sportsmanship in each grade division.
Cost of the tournament
is $80 per team. The first eight teams in each division will
be accepted, after which additional teams in multiples of
four will be accepted. If any division has too many registered
teams, the teams with the earliest entry fees will be accepted.
Deadline for team registrations is Jan. 3.
