 Morningside College senior Alyssa Filipek of Bettendorf, Iowa, will have her senior art show on display Nov. 29 through Dec. 11 in the college’s Hickman-Johnson-Furrow Learning Center, 1601 Morningside Ave.
The show, entitled “Because of Love,” will feature more than 30 examples of Filipek’s photography and graphic design work, which have themes and subjects related to love, mercy and justice. A reception for the show will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the learning center. Learning center hours are 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. to midnight Sunday.
Filipek will graduate from Morningside College in December with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design.
