Dimmitt, Roadman Scholars named

for 2005-2006 academic year

Sixty-three Morningside College students were named Dimmitt Scholars in recognition of high academic achievement, and 80 students were named Roadman Scholars in recognition of very high academic achievement for the 2005-06 academic year.


Dimmitt Scholars must be full-time students who have completed at least 45 semester hours of college work with a cumulative grade point average between 3.50 and 3.75.


Roadman Scholars must be full-time students who have completed at least 45 semester hours of college work with a cumulative grade point average of 3.76 or above.

The Dimmitt Scholar designation is named in honor of the late Miss Lillian Dimmitt, who served as a teacher and administrator at Morningside College for more than 60 years.
