The Morningside College chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) recently recognized Jedidiah McCoy of Climbing Hill, Iowa, as the Student Leader of the Month for March.
ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character.
McCoy is a junior majoring in engineering/physics and math. He was nominated for this honor because of his contributions to student government and for his dedication to the physics department.
A leader on campus, McCoy serves as vice president of the Phi Eta Sigma national honor society, co-president of the CHA CHA campus wellness organization, and co-president of the Physics/Engineering Club. He also is a student government senator and a resident assistant, and he was elected student government secretary for the 2012-2013 school year.
