Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble to perform March 13 concert

The Morningside College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform a spring concert on Sunday, March 13, at 3 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.

The ensemble will perform music by band composers such as John Philip Sousa, Jan Van der Roost, David Maslanka, and others.  The concert will also feature Dr. David Lambert, Morningside’s assistant professor of music and director of instrumental jazz, on trombone.

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is Morningside’s concert band. The student ensemble, directed by Dr. Tamey Anglley, assistant professor of music and director of bands, performs contemporary and traditional wind literature.
