Morningside College professor presents at Self Employment in the Arts conference

Pam Mickelson, professor of business administration at Morningside College, recently made a presentation on “Basics of Building Your Brand” during the 10th annual Self Employment in the Arts (SEA) conference in Chicago. Mickelson’s presentation provided practical tools to help artists with the brand-building process.

Mickelson joined the Morningside faculty in 1988. She received her bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University, her master’s degree from Arkansas State University and her doctorate from Oklahoma State University

The mission of SEA is to provide aspiring artists with the business skills to maintain careers as independent artists.
