Natalee Girardi of the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation in Des Moines, Iowa, will give three separate presentations about personal financial matters on Thursday, March 23, on the campus of Morningside College.
She will present a program on budgeting and personal finance at noon, a program on life after college at 3:30 p.m., and a program on credit card management at 7 p.m.
All three presentations are free and open to the public and will be held in the Randolph Room of the Olsen Student Center, 3609 Peters Avenue.
The noon presentation “Steps to Becoming Money-Wise” is sponsored by Morningside’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS) and will be an interactive session that will provide tips and suggestions on money management and financial future planning.
The “Life after College” session is designed for new college graduates and will focus on topics such as buying verses leasing a vehicle, employer benefits, and student loans.
The evening presentation “Credit Cards: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” will provide information on wise usage of credit cards and how to keep credit card bills from escalating.
Girardi is an outreach representative with the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation. Before moving to Des Moines, Girardi was employed with the Missouri Department of Higher Education, where she worked directly with the state’s post-secondary institutions to offer a variety of services including training and regulatory guidance.
