Two distinct art exhibits by Morningside College seniors Mark Clark and Abbey Williams will be on display Wednesday, March 30, through Tuesday, April 5, in Eppley Art Gallery. An artists’ reception will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, in the gallery. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
“Transcending Horizons” by Clark will include several series of photographic prints featuring landscapes, still life, architecture, and portraiture in color and black and white using special processing techniques such as cyanotype, silver metallic, and a satin series. Clark’s exhibit will also feature graphic designs for corporate identification, special events, compact disc packaging/mailers, a typographical celebrity poster, and a magazine layout.
“Eyes Wide Open” by Williams is an exhibit of graphic designs including logo designs, posters, package designs, and corporate identity pieces.
