Morningside College welcomes new staff members, promotes others

Morningside College announces the addition of two new staff members and the promotion of two current staff members.


The new members include Marcella Cambigue, student notebook coordinator, and Jennifer Jauron, admissions counselor. In addition, André McWell has assumed additional duties as coordinator of the Student Success program, and Liz Miller has been promoted to full-time admissions counselor.


cambigueCambigue, from Sioux City, holds an associate’s degree in computer networking and information systems from Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City and a bachelor’s degree in business information systems from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Neb. She is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and holds an A+ Professional Certificate from CompTIA. Cambigue began her duties on June 6, and is responsible for coordinating the student notebook computer program and providing technology workshops for students. She was previously employed as a medical assistant/medical secretary at Siouxland Urology Associates, P.C., in Dakota Dunes, S.D.


Jauron graduated from Morningside College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in jauronbusiness administration. She joined the Morningside admissions team on June 1 and assists students and their families from Nebraska. A native of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Jauron was previously a manager for Van Maur in Lincoln, Neb.


mcwellMcWell, from Sioux City, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Sioux Falls. He joined Morningside College in 2003 as assistant track and cross-country coach. In 2004, he began work as a business tutor in the Student Success Program at Morningside. As the new coordinator of the program, McWell’s responsibilities have expanded to include developing and implementing programs that will help students to succeed in college. He will retain his duties as assistant track and cross country coach. Prior to joining Morningside, McWell was employed at United Parcel Service in Sioux City and Gateway, Inc. in North Sioux City, S.D.


Miller graduated from Morningside in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate millercommunications. She joined the Morningside admissions staff as a temporary admissions counselor in 2004. In her new position, she assists students and their families from southern Iowa and the Des Moines area.
