Dr. Douglas Livermore, professor and chair of business and economics at Morningside College, will attend the 2005 Conference of Business and Economics Society International to be held July 22-25 in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The annual conference includes panel and roundtable discussions by scholars from around the world on various international business and economic issues including implications of the third industrial revolution and an increasingly global market economy, global wealth distribution, international inflation, and government regulation.
The Business and Economics Society International serves as a medium of open discussion for anyone interested in business and economics problems, facilitates communication between practitioners and business and economics academicians, and promotes the disciplines of business and economics as fields of study. The society annually publishes “Global Business & Economics Review,” a professional journal of original papers selected from the society’s annual conference.
Livermore has taught at Morningside since 1980. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb., and a doctorate in education from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
