Elizabeth K. Wright of Onawa, Iowa, has been selected as a United Parcel Service (UPS) Scholar from Morningside College. She is the recipient of a $2,750 scholarship through the Iowa College Foundation, an organization that raises funds for its 25 independent college members in Iowa.
Wright is a sophomore who is majoring in biology at Morningside.
Wright joins other students from Iowa who are sharing in scholarships from The UPS Foundation’s educational endowment fund. The UPS endowment fund evolved from a $4.2 million grant to the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE) by UPS in 1974. FIHE is the national partner in a network of 36 state and regional funds that develop resources for private colleges and universities.
