Morningside College announces new appointments for three staff members in the office of institutional advancement.
Receiving new appointments are Randy Hansen as director of major gifts; Joel Weyand as assistant vice president advancement – constituent development; and Kari Winklepleck as assistant vice president advancement – annual fund.
Hansen joined the staff in 2001 as director of the bookstore and took on the additional responsibilities of athletic fundraiser in 2003. Hansen left his role as director of the bookstore in 2005 to work as regional development officer. Hansen has a bachelor’s degree from Morningside College.
Weyand most recently served as director of admissions. He joined the staff in 1998 as a development specialist for athletic fundraising, was appointed associate director of admissions in 1999, and became director of admissions in 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Morningside College and a master’s degree from the University of South Dakota.
Winklepleck began working for Morningside in 2003 as a regional development officer for institutional advancement and was appointed director of the annual fund in 2006. Winklepleck has a bachelor’s degree from Morningside College.
