Morningside College junior Ilisja Sheri will be giving a violin recital on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Aveune. The recital is open to the public free of charge.
Sheri will be performing the Beethoven’s 7th Sonata, Bach’s G minor Sonata, and show pieces by Kreisler and De Falla. Dr. James March, professor of music at Morningside, and Dr. Kathryn March, adjunct instructor of music at Morningside, will accompany Sheri on the piano.
Sheri is a member of the Morningside College String Quartet and the Morningside Camerata, a new student-faculty ensemble for strings. Her instructor is Jameson Cooper, violinist with the Euclid Quartet and adjunct instructor of music at Morningside.
