“Often times people don’t realize that what they are doing
can be constituted as sexual harassment.”
Jan Grossnickel, CSADV coordinator
Jan Grossnickel, sexual assault coordinator at the Council for Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence (CSADV) in Sioux City, will present “Defining Sexual Harassment for College Students” on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 11:45 a.m. in the UPS Auditorium of the Lincoln Center, 3627 Peters Avenue on the Morningside College campus. The event is sponsored by Morningside’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS) and is free and open to the public.
During the presentation, Grossnickel will define what constitutes sexual harassment, not only on college campuses but also in the workplace, and provide case scenarios. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
“Often times people don’t realize that what they are doing can be constituted as sexual harassment,” said Grossnickel.
