December graduates announced

Twenty-six Morningside College students graduated at the close of the fall semester in mid-December. The graduates have the option of walking in the college's 107th commencement exercises this May.

Morningside College awards general honors based on undergraduate work completed at the college and according to the grade point averages designated as follows:

             

*Cum Laude (with honor) at 3.50

              **Magna Cum Laude (with great honor) at 3.66

              ***Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) at 3.81.

The graduates earning bachelor of arts degrees include:

From Sioux City - Wendy Bryce and Kristen Carter***.

From Iowa - Randi Mann, Shenandoah; and Ashley Thompson, Sergeant Bluff.

The graduates earning bachelor of science degrees include:

From Sioux City - Jeffrey Carlson, Deborah Durio*, Brett Myers, Haylee Utech, and Dominic Vo.

From Iowa - Jamie Beaver, Hornick; Alissah Brosamle, Holstein ; David Cooper, Moville; Shana Gobel**, Washta; Kelley Pruismann***, Rock Valley ; Jennifer Spink, Kingsley; Sheila Yamada, Le Mars, and Benjamin Young**, Onawa.

From other states - Luke Comeau**, South Sioux City, Neb.; James D'Auguste, North Sioux City, S.D.; Joshua Kunze, Lyle, Minn; Beau Livingston, South Sioux City, Neb.; Monica Miller, South Sioux City, Neb.; and Katelin Saufley, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Jill Ellickson*** of Sioux City and Christopher Frisbie of Wall Lake, Iowa, graduated with a bachelor of music education degree.

Tamara Lowin of Sioux City graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing degree.
