Award-winning American concert pianist Robert Marshall Auler will perform at Morningside College at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
Auler has a national and international performing career. He has won numerous competitions and has performed throughout Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Venezuela, Austria and the United States. He played in Carnegie Hall in June of 2004. He is a piano professor at State University of New York in Oswego and recently released a CD of works by contemporary American composers.
“I was very impressed with his virtuosity and communicative power at the piano,” said James March, professor of music at Morningside College and organizer of the piano series.
General admission is $15 and free for students, faculty and staff with a Morningside ID.
This will be the fourth performance in a five-concert piano series at Morningside College. The last performance will be pianist Feilin Lin in April.
