Marcoux Corner, an a cappella group based in Minneapolis, Minn., will perform at Morningside College on Monday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Avenue.
The free event is sponsored by Morningside’s Academic and Cultural Arts Series (ACAS) and the Morningside Activities Council (MAC) and is open to the public.
Marcoux Corner formed in 2000 at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and has since performed across the country at colleges and universities, conventions, state fairs, and for corporations such as 3M, General Mills, and L.L. Bean. They have shared the stage with such acts as The Beach Boys, Vanessa Carlton, and many other national performers and touring groups, and have released two full-length compact discs; “Buyin’ Time,” a collection of classic rock and roll favorites and original songs, and the holiday collection “Tidings.”
