Morningside College will hold a special interdenominational Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday, Mar. 1, at 11:45 a.m. in Roadman Hall Formal Lounge, 3600 Peters Avenue. The public is invited.
The service will be directed by Kathy Olson, Morningside’s campus pastor and director of church relations.
Special guest will be the Rev. Andrea Kraushaar, Morningside College alumna and associate minister with the Boone First United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa, who will deliver a message of repentance and hope. The service will include a welcome and greeting by Olson, prayers, Scripture readings, and the imposition of ashes. Music will be provided by Morningside College students.
