Morningside College students exhibit “water” photos at coffee shop

Students in an intermediate photography class at Morningside College are exhibiting photos at the Longhome Coffee Shop, 5716 Sunnybrook Drive, in Sioux City until the end of December.

The students chose “water” as the general theme for the show. All of the images on exhibit range from still lifes and waterfalls to figures swimming and children playing in water.

Students with work in the show include Chelsi Bissell of Corning, Iowa; Samantha Grella of Beatrice, Neb.; Natasha Hemmelrick of Hawarden, Iowa; Catelin Hoistad of Aberdeen, S.D.; Kane Kuehl of Sioux City; Meggie Mitchell of Lake Park, Iowa; Amber Richtig of Minden, Iowa; Brooke Spencer of Story City, Iowa; and Elaine Turnipseed of Redding, Calif..

The class is under the direction of Dolie Thompson and Matthew Ellis.
