Amber Aschinger and William Mallett Jr. to present senior art exhibit

Morningside College students Amber Aschinger of Breda, Iowa, and William Mallett Jr. of Salix, Iowa, will be having their senior art show on display from Tuesday, Dec. 9, through Monday, Dec. 15, in the Eppley Auditorium Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Ave.

There will be a reception for Mallett and Aschinger on Friday, Dec. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the art gallery. Their show, called “Simple Elegance,” will feature a collection of graphic design pieces created by Aschinger and Mallett throughout their college careers. The pieces were created for classes and for freelance jobs they picked up during their time in college. Mallett and Aschinger will both be graduating at semester.

The show is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
