Morningside College students to be included in Who’s Who Among Students

Seventeen Morningside College students will be included in the 2008 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Individual schools select the upper-class student leaders honored through Who’s Who Among Students. At Morningside College, all students with a certain grade point average were invited to apply for the honor; then a faculty nomination committee reviewed the applications and decided which ones were worthy of recognition by Who’s Who Among Students.

The following Morningside students were selected for the 2008 edition of Who’s Who Among Students:

Iowa: Megan Jean Benson, Lawton; Heidi Lynn Braunschweig, Alta; Nicole Irene Cleveland, Sergeant Bluff; Miranda Ann Galvin, Cherokee; Diana Garcia, Le Mars; Staci Maxine Holm, Story City; Jenna Sue Jurrens, George; Grant Thomas Leavitt, Marcus; Brandon A. Shostak, Sioux City; Marleta Marie Smith, Lake City; Leah Ann Winter, Sioux City; and Cassie Marie Zimmerman, Oxford.

Other states: Melissa Kay Dreyer, Hay Springs, Neb.; Victoria Lynn Reed, Mission Viejo, Calif.;  Brian Andrew Schekirke, Bellevue, Neb.; Joshua Charles Wilkerson, Lincoln, Neb.; and Grant Byron Wittstruck, Jefferson City, Mo.
