Twelve Morningside College students named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

Twelve Morningside College students have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders in the 2006 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”


The students include:


Sioux City: Angela Meyer.


Iowa: Lisa Cunningham, Anthon; Tessa Connor, Mapleton; Steven Deppe, Prole; Emily Faber, Le Mars; Amanda Leu, Spencer; Michelle Schneider, Merrill; Elizabeth Watson, Elk Horn.


Nebraska: Jenna Rehnstrom, Hartington; Colleen Zuerlein, Lincoln.


Other states and countries: Jonathan Fisk, Olathe, Kan., Batsirai Mutize, Zimbabwe.


Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory have included the names of the students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success. Morningside students join others from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
