Morningside College announces summer graduates

Thirty-four students graduated with bachelor’s degrees from Morningside College this summer.

Kali Angerman, Kelsey Baldwin, Chris Delfs III, Matthew Niles, Maurie Tomke, and Linda Xayabanha of Sioux City received bachelor of arts degrees.

Others who received bachelor of arts degrees were: Zachary Andersen of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Jason Freudenburg of Madison, Neb.; Amber Jarzynka of Blair, Neb.; Michael Kellen of Omaha, Neb.; Kendra Klein of Remsen, Iowa; Brandie Koenig of Sloan, Iowa; Samuel Kruse of Guthrie Center, Iowa; Adam Mathers of Correctionville, Iowa; Robert Mosby of Omaha, Neb.; Kory Petzenhauser of Merrill, Iowa; Jesse Pick of Northfield, Minn.; Edwin Sanchez of Oswego, Ill.; Ryusuke Sugamori of Osaka, Japan; and Joshua Towle of Maplewood, Minn.

Nathan Gomez of Sioux City received a bachelor of science degree.

Others who received bachelor of science degrees were: Jeffrey Bruning of Omaha, Neb.; Kelli Frankele of Raleigh, N.C.; Kathryn Goodwin of Omaha, Neb.; Samantha Hood of Dodge, Neb.; Josiah Keleher of Moberly, Mo.; Aaron Klein of Wakefield, Neb.; Jekara Konecki of Champlin, Minn.; Evan Mann of Lincoln, Neb.; Patrick Oxendale of Denison, Iowa; Patricia Powell of Lawton, Iowa; Andrew Stevenson of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Katherine Wentzel of Eden Prairie, Minn.

Kelsey Ploen of Pierson, Iowa, received a bachelor of science in nursing degree.

Hood and Koenig graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 or higher.

Goodwin, Mathers, and Oxendale graduated Cum Laude (with honor) for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
