Morningside College will hold a special interdenominational worship service on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 11:45 a.m. in Roadman Hall Formal Lounge, 3600 Peters Avenue. The public is invited. During the service, a special collection will be taken up to assist with relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
“Let’s Get It Started” will be the theme of the service, which will be directed by Kathy Olson, Morningside’s campus pastor and director of church relations. The service will include a welcome and greeting by Olson, prayers, and Old and New Testament readings. Music will be provided by Morningside College students Shay Cottingham, Sarah Haugen, Brandon Shostak, and David Waggoner.
