Alumni and friends will perform at Morningside College during the Labor Day Choral Reunion concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The public is invited to this free concert.
Alumni and friends who registered to perform in the concert will be rehearsing throughout the weekend, beginning Friday evening, Sept. 2, and concluding with the Sunday concert. They will rehearse with Dr. Michael Krueger, who was director of choral activities at Morningside College from 1996 to 2003, and Tim Watson, who is the current director of choral activities at Morningside.
During the concert, the reunion group will perform songs such as “Gloria” from “Missa Kenya” by Paul Basler; “In Remembrance” by Eleanor Daley; and “All That I Am” by William Grant Still. The student-led barbershop quartet, “The Portly Gentlemen,” will perform at intermission.
