A Morningside College student from Norfolk, Neb., presented her research at a recent conference, and one of her papers was published in the June issue of The Journal of Young Investigators.

Brittany Frisch wrote a paper on ethics standards involved in HIV vaccine research, “Equipoise as an Ethical Standard in Clinical Trials: Case Study Using Anti-HIV Drug Trials Conducted in Third World Countries.” This paper was accepted for presentation at the Midwest Undergraduate Philosophy Conference in Omaha, Neb.

She also wrote the paper “Understanding Challenges and Advances in HIV Vaccine Development” that was accepted for publication in The Journal of Young Investigators.

Frisch graduated from Morningside College in May. She is now working for Becton, Dickinson and Company, an international biomedical supply company, at their plant in Columbus, Neb.
