Thirty-one students graduated with bachelor’s degrees from Morningside College in August.
Li Chen, Dean Kent, William Meacham, Russell Sands, John Sitzmann, and Tanaeya Worden of Sioux City received bachelor of arts degrees.
Others who received bachelor of arts degrees were: Sergej Baskow of Ludwigsburg, Germany; Yan He of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Pamela Husk of Le Mars, Iowa; Lindsey Jacobus of Glenwood, Iowa; Matthew Knudsen of Webster City, Iowa; Scott Kruger of Sheldon, Iowa; Wei Lin of Cleveland, Ohio; Keisuke Mukai of Tokyo, Japan; Ashley Runge of Boone, Iowa; Christopher Stutzriem of Lawton, Okla.; Nickolaus Wilcox of Omaha, Neb.; Donte Williams of Virginia Beach, Va.; Lihua Yan of Fujian, Japan; and Liuyin Ye of Fujian.
Torey Devlin-Hill, Allison Nguyen, Kristi Rohde, and Leigh Schuldt of Sioux City received bachelor of science degrees.
Others who received bachelor of science degrees were: Michael Bryant of Farragut, Tenn.; Devin Landgraf of Storm Lake, Iowa; Mallory Lowe of Panora, Iowa; Stephanie Mefferd of Ida Grove, Iowa; Kylie Tirado of New Braunfels, Texas; and Bryant Truslow of Armstrong, Iowa, and Zachary Woods of Le Mars, Iowa.
Lowe graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 or higher.
Jacobus, Lin, Runge, and Sitzmann graduated Magna Cum Laude (with great honor) for having cumulative grade point averages of 3.66 or higher.
Chen and Yan graduated Cum Laude (with honor) for having cumulative grade point averages of 3.50 or higher.
