Digital illustrations by Joey Feaster of Jefferson, S.D., are on display through September 19 in the Hickman-Johnson-Furrow Library Center, 1601 Morningside Avenue, on the Morningside College campus.
An opening reception for the exhibit will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, in the Hickman-Johnson-Furrow Library Center.
A 2007 graduate of the University of South Dakota, Feaster received a bachelor’s degree in photography. Feaster’s most recent artwork focuses on social topics and presents imagery that uses bold statements to allow viewers to compare their own perspective on the topic.
In addition to fine art illustrations and drawings, Feaster documents people in a variety of portraits that focus on commercial themes such as senior portraits, weddings and family pictures.
