August graduates announced

Seventeen students graduated with bachelor’s degrees from Morningside College in August.

Karl Livermore, Barbara Rohlena, Ilisja Sheri, and Matthew Stachowitz of Sioux City all received bachelor of science degrees.

Others who received bachelor of science degrees were as follows: Katie Bowen of South Sioux City, Neb.; Kayla Joslin of Odebolt, Iowa; Matthew Krohn of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; Brandon Petersen of Minden, Iowa; and Angela Uher of Mapleton, Iowa.

James Cornelia II of Sioux City received a bachelor of arts degree.

Others who received bachelor of arts degrees were as follows: Alicia Baier of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; Sharon Fank of Emmetsburg, Iowa; Nicole Kranz of Columbus, Neb.; Casandra Peck of Scribner, Neb.; Kiel Ploen of Pierson, Iowa; and Benjamin Walker of Moville, Iowa.

Tyler Schnuckel of Onawa, Iowa, received a bachelor of music education degree.

Rohlena graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor) for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 or higher.

Bowen and Sheri both graduated Cum Laude (with honor) for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

The graduates have the option of walking in the college’s 110th commencement in May 2008.
