Pam Mickelson, professor of business at Morningside College, wrote “The Brand Builder Workbook,” which was recently published by The Copy Workshop in Chicago.
“The Brand Builder Workbook” is a step-by-step guide to creating a marketing campaign, from identification of a situation or problem to creative execution of a pitch. It is designed for upper-level marketing communication classes, or for entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations or small businesses. It is available at the Morningside College Bookstore.
For the past 20 years, Mickelson has worked with Morningside College students to develop marketing campaigns for a variety of local businesses and nonprofit organizations. She used her experience to put together this step-by-step book during a sabbatical in the fall of 2009.
Mickelson joined the faculty at Morningside College in 1988. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark.; a master’s degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro; and a doctorate from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
