The Iowa Piano Quartet will perform a concert at Morningside College on Wednesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The Iowa Piano Quartet consists of faculty members of the University of Iowa School of Music.
Scott Conklin regularly appears as a recitalist, soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teaching clinician throughout the United States and abroad. He is associate professor of violin at the University of Iowa School of Music.
Hannah Holman is the cellist of the Maia Quartet, quartet-in-residence at the University of Iowa. Hannah began her professional career in England, playing with the English String Orchestra.
Elizabeth Oakes, violist, is a founding member of the Maia Quartet. As a member of the quartet, she has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.
Rene Lecuona, professor of piano at the University of Iowa, has performed throughout South America, Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall with mezzo-soprano Katherine Eberle.
