Morningside College student Catelin Hoistad will have her senior art exhibition, titled “Compare/Contrast,” on display from April 7 through 11 in the Hickman Johnson Furrow Learning Center on Morningside’s campus.
The exhibit features photographs that explore various themes, including race, age and religion. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Library hours are 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. to midnight Sunday.
A reception for Hoistad will be held on April 9 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Hoistad, who is from Aberdeen, S.D., will graduate in May with a double major in Spanish and photography.
