Comedian Ralphie May to perform at Morningside College

Ralphie MayComedian Ralphie May, who has appeared on NBC’s reality television series “Last Comic Standing” and on the Comedy Central cable network, will perform in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

Tickets for the performance can be purchased in the Eppley Auditorium lobby on Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. both days.  Tickets for the general public are $20. The concert is sponsored by the Morningside College Activities Council.

Known for his hip-hop brand of comedy, May has earned roles in such urban films as "For Da Love of Money" and "Gas." His one-hour special, "Ralphie May: Prime Cut" continues to air in rotation on Comedy Central.

Also on the small screen, May has worked as a writer and producer on ESPN's "Mohr Sports" starring Jay Mohr. He has performed stand-up on numerous late night talk shows including appearances on CBS's "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" as well as appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He also has appeared on "The Man Show" and MTV's "Bash" as well as guest-starred on NBC's "Whoopie."
