Several Morningside College students were inducted into the college’s chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biological honor society, on March 30.
Beta Beta Beta includes regular and associate memberships. Regular members must have completed at least 12 credit hours of biology classes, including a non-introductory course, and earn at least B- average in all of them. Associate members must complete one biology course with a grade of at least a B-. Associates can upgrade to regular membership when the requirements are met.
The students who were inducted as regular members were: Erin Carrow of Omaha, Neb.; Chad Clancy of Spencer, Iowa; Maggie Fast of Hastings, Neb.; Matthew Kerr of Sigourney, Iowa; Hoa Le of Sioux City; Eva Mattox of Deadwood, S.D.; Justin Moser of Morris, Minn.; Alicia Prewett of Lyons, Neb.; and Sarah Schreur of Hawarden, Iowa.
Ben Nashleanas of Hinton, Iowa; and RaeChael Zabokrtsky of Endicott, Neb., were inducted as associate members.
