Morningside College student Andrew Goodell a senior from Sioux City, will give a cello recital on Wednesday, April 18, at 8 p.m. in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Avenue, on the college campus.
The recital is free and open to the public.
Goodell’s program will include Francesco Maria Veracini’s “Largo,” Mark McCain and Erica Johnson’s “Brother David's Jig,” Shostakovich’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor, op.40, and Eicca Toppinen’s “Faraway.”
Collaborating with Goodell will be Michele Grossman, adjunct instructor of music, on piano; Joseph Shufro, associate professor of music, on cello; and Morningside students John Velasquez and Kasey Farrell on guitar and percussion, respectively.
